The Ethics Course Course Schedule

Register for a course

The Ethics Course is offered four times throughout the year and is useful for those wishing a refresher in the ethical practice of law, as well as those interested in how the Disciplinary System works and how to stay out of trouble by practicing in an appropriate, professional manner. Many judges and Grievance Committees have found this course a useful tool in educating lawyers. There is a course book with chapters on Malpractice and Grievance Prevention, Attorney/Client Relationships, Law Office Management, Getting & Keeping Clients, Career Killers, and ProBono. Lectures may be on these topics or on other, related topics of interest. This course qualifies for 5 hours ethics/professional responsibility/participatory MCLE credit. The Center is registered with the TX State Board of Public Accountancy as continuing education sponsor #07672.

Parking is not available at the Texas Law Center. Parking is available at the Capitol Visitors Parking located at San Jacinto between 12th and 13th Streets or Wells Fargo Bank located at 400 W. 15th Street.

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and the course runs from 9:00 - 4:00 p.m. (with appropriate breaks and one hour lunch break).
